SideCoach was started by two Division I athletes who ran their programs' camps and lived the workflows firsthand. The engineers who joined them build the fix - the platform university programs now run their camps on.

Luke Carrell

Luke earned his MBA from Ohio State University's Fisher College of Business, following an undergraduate degree in management from the University of Oklahoma, where he played Division I baseball before finishing his career on the mound at Ohio State. He worked in private equity at eGateway Capital, sourcing deals and building the valuation and LBO models behind M&A advisory for a $120M portfolio. He now leads SideCoach full time as Co-Founder and CEO, setting the company's product direction, leading investor relations, and building the relationships with the athletic programs that run their camps on it.

Zach Carrell

Zach earned his MBA from Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business after completing an undergraduate degree in economics at the University of Oklahoma, where he played Division I baseball. He spent over two years at Bank of America as an assistant vice president, building the capacity and assignment models that kept large-scale operations running smoothly. Today, he leads SideCoach full-time as Co-Founder and COO, where he built the optimization engine behind the Scheduler Software and oversees the company's day-to-day operations.

Nirmit Dagli, Cloud Engineer at SideCoach

Nirmit Dagli

Nirmit leads infra at SideCoach, where he builds the secure, reliable systems the platform runs on. He previously architected multi-tenant cloud platforms across AWS, Azure, and GCP as an infrastructure and security engineer at Zycus and built cloud and AI platform infra in a regulated environment at State Street. He holds a Master's in computer science from Quinnipiac University and is a Certified Cloud & AI Architect.

Mehul Mangave, Full Stack Engineer at SideCoach

Mehul Mangave

Mehul earned his Master's in computer engineering from San Jose State University, following an undergraduate degree in electronics and telecommunications engineering from the Vishwakarma Institute of Technology in Pune, India. He spent nearly two years as a software engineer at Syngenta, modernizing a legacy operations portal with React, TypeScript, and Next.js and building responsive dashboards used by more than 10,000 people, with more recent full-stack engineering work at State Street. As a full stack engineer at SideCoach, he builds the product interfaces and services that programs and families rely on.

Lead Engineer

John Olawale

John earned his degree in computer engineering from the University of Lagos in Nigeria and brings more than seven years of software engineering experience building web and backend systems. He has been with SideCoach for three years, joining early enough to help shape the platform from its first working version. As Lead Engineer he owns the architecture and technical direction of the product, and leads the engineering team that builds it.
